Note: There are many wonderful audio resources for both stationary meditation practices and yogic practices available through iTunes and other podcast services. Many podcasts are lectures focusing on teachings regarding traditional Buddhist practices, others are educational focusing on mindfulness research, and some are designed for individuals working with specific medical conditions. If you are interested in supplemental material for this course, we recommend looking for teachers who have training in the certification programs associated with this course, specifically in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as this course is based on the core MBSR curriculum created by John Kabot-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Worchester.
